Straight Talk Instructions

Straight Talk is an awesome program. It can be a bit tricky setting it up initially, but after that it's smooth sailing. Most of our team here uses Straight Talk for their personal lines and their family lines, and it really is the best value out there. After helping literally 1000s of customers set these up, we've developed some helpful instructions to get a quick and successful activation.

If you purchased a phone for Straight Talk (Verizon Towers):

Be sure to follow the packing slip that was included in your package. Do not call in to activate your phone, Straight Talk phone support is much slower and less reliable than their live chat or doing it using their online forms. Be sure to use your IMEI and access code to register the phone. Straight Talk Verizon guide should have been included in your package, along with 4G LTE SIM card (installed) and green or red access code card. 

If you purchased a phone for Straight Talk (AT&T Towers):

Be sure to follow the packing slip that was included in your package. Do not call in to activate your phone, Striaght Talk phone support is much slower and less reliable than their live chat or doing it using their online forms. The key to activating these is to make sure you use the SIM card serial number any time you reference your phone on their website/live chat. Since the phone is a GSM phone, you are technically activating the SIM card, not the phone. Straight Talk AT&T Guide.
